They were really good friends in B-Troupe. It is shown that West and Daniel are very competitive with each other, but West probably trusts Daniel the most out of all dancers. InВ Good Girls Gone Bad,В WestВ andВ Daniel did a duet by colliding their dance styles of contemporary and hip hop. West and Michelle have not interacted much in Season 2, but when Michelle leaves the studio, he really wants her to come back. At the end of the season, West voted for Michelle to be the new Dance Captain.Throughout the rest of the season they remain close friends. He joined Michelle's dance routine to show Kate and Chris to overthrow Emily as Dance Captain. See Westmily Eldon Season 1 ДЄfter seeing the E-Girls diss Michelle, West befriended Michelle. West develops a crush on Emily, and at Nationals he asks her on a date. When Amanda's plan becomes exposed West apologizes to Emily and they start a really good friendship. West and Emily did not interact much at the beginning of Season 2, but when Emily has to be mean for her plan with Riley, West defends Riley and yells at Emily. Towards the end of season one he accepts Emily, but they are not really friends as they do not interact much. He has square black hair, dark eyes, and darker skin.ДЄt the beginning of the show West does not like Emily and her attitude and votes for Michelle as Dance Captain. West often wears bright colored tank tops paired with shorts or sweats. He is also very king and caring about his friends. West is a funny character, and is friends with everyone at the Next Step. West keeps to himself and is sometimes misunderstood. In Season 2 he develops feelings for Emily and kisses her in the last episode. West never got involved in much drama, aside from joining Michelle's secret dance in Season 1. West first auditioned for B-Troupe and then after he auditioned for A-Troupe. He left Seeds so he could become a better dancer. Not all the characters manage to rise above the social pressure, but, when one does, it's an example that's worth holding up to your kids.West originally danced for a dance group called Seeds. But, although her actions play out like a how-to book on bullying, they do serve an important purpose in posing moral dilemmas that may look familiar to kids. She's scheming and cruel for purely selfish reasons, and she uses manipulation and feigned affection to control her friends, which wins over several of the characters at one point or another. What's more, many of the characters emerge as decent role models either through their devotion to and passion for dance or through some pretty strong mettle in standing up to strong peer pressure.ДЄnd, speaking of peer pressure, The Next Step's most striking quality is the obtrusive presence of an unapologetic mean girl in Emily, who uses her social status to dominate her peers.

The show shirks most iffy content that some other teen-centered series sensationalize, so you won't have to worry about allusions to sex, teen drinking, or strong language of any kind. Given that it centers on two highly charged subjects - teen relations and competitive dance - it's never lacking drama, which bodes well for drawing in young viewers. THE NEXT STEP is a scripted drama series filmed like a reality show, with a constant back-and-forth between observational segments and tell-all confessionals with individual characters.
